This software shines with a simple, intuitive interface and a short learning curve. I disconnected my new shiny red SC09 cable, thinking that that model may not had ceveloper supported by my version of gx developer.
I have already checked every single avenue that I know of and had been able to disseminate such as using different serial communication speeds, opening the program that I downloaded from that specific PLC and try to go on line from there, open a new project and call for that specif PLC model, and try mihsubishi go on line from there.
Has anyone encounter a situation like mitsbuishi with Mitsubishi.
RSLinx will hog the serial port. I tried to go back to the previous model that I had been playing with and tried to have more fun with it, and to my dismay, I got the horrible error message that comes out when the software does not find the PLC.
Yesterday I received the second cable that I had order developed the Q model.
Eric, your point did cross my mind, but after I was able to use the SC-Q cable without any problems, I ruled that out, never the less, at this point, I'm willing to try anything. You can also test all of your program's key functions before they are implemented with the GX Simulator offline simulation mode.

Don't quote me dveloper this but it might even be cheaper. Why are you looking at GX Developer? Do you need it for a specific older PLC? I apreciate your input. Once I learned the syntax of the programming I prefer it over the AB stuff.
